Since the shocking shooting deaths of two Baton Rouge Police officers and one East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputy many people are wanting to know all they can about the shooter. Many are asking the question, "Who was Gavin Long?" Many news agencies have been working to answer that question.

The Advocate is reporting that their law enforcement sources told them that Gavin Long's military history matches up to a man on Facebook who would post a variety of videos.  The name he gave? Cosmo Setepenra.

Setepenra (said to be Gavin Long) called himself a life coach and spiritual advisor.

In this excerpt from The Advocate article, Long talks about people only caring about two things,

“If y’all wanna keep protesting, do that, but for the serious ones, the real ones, the alpha ones, we know what it’s going to take. It’s only fighting back of money, that’s all they care about,” he said. “Revenue and blood. Revenue and blood. Revenue and blood. Revenue and blood. Nothing else.”

Long posted another rambling YouTube video titled "3 principles for my people" in which he urged viewers not to "get emotional" about recent current events but to make a "lifestyle change." In the recording, he refers to himself as a "buffer between the bully and the victim."

Setepenra claims to have been in Dallas after the shooting of the five officers there.

The three officers that were killed yesterday are Officers Montrell Jackson, Matthew Gerald and Brad Garafola.

The search for more information on Gavin Long will continue while the grief will continue for the family and friends of the those officers who were killed and injured.
