A while back, Shannon moved to Pittsburgh for work.  Her house is in the suburbs, and on some mornings and evenings she gets visitors from the nearby nature center.

As you can see in the picture below, her house is not far from the nature center.  Still, the deer have to cross a busy road (I wonder if they wait for the crossing signal?).   When she first moved there, I noticed the deer crossing signs and thought "out here, in the middle of the city??"  It wasn't until recently that I looked at the map to see the large wooded area near her house.

Rabbits are a common sight and, as of late, so are deer.  Usually when she sees deer, it is only one or two.  Last night, she sent me this video of 4 deer in her back yard, very close to the house!  Listen to her gasp at :37 when the deer move suddenly.
