Sertoma Cajun Air Festival To Feature USAF Thunderbirds

The Sertoma Cajun Air Festival will feature the USAF Thunderbirds this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, at Lafayette Regional Airport.

Gates will be open from 8AM - 5PM on both Saturday & Sunday. Aircraft displays and interactive activities will be accessible during these times.

Aerial performances begin at approximately 11AM and last to approximately 4:15PM. Due to security requirements, performance times are not released.

Tickets range from $10 to $25 and are available online or at the gate.  All prices are subject to change.

If you have never seen the Thunderbirds in action, you really need to treat you and your family to this amazing, precision aerial circus.  You will smile, be awed and if you have a heart, you may even be moved to tears.  Yes, it's that spectacular.

If you notice, the last few minutes of the raw footage features Tracy Wirtz of KATC TV3 getting her safety equipment briefing by the United States Air Force.... she was getting ready for her Media Ride in an F-16 Thunderbird!!
