I guess they feel kind of like we feel when we're leaving work on sunny Friday afternoon, but WAY more so! I saw these pictures on The BarkPost and had to share. The joy and peace in the faces and hearts of these dogs will make you feel all warm and fuzzy!

Meanwhile, I received this plea for help from our friends at Lafayette Animal Aid and thought I'd share it, too. I know you'll help if you can.

Plain and simple, we need food to feed cats and dogs in homes where money is tight for the holidays.  Please help us stock the Acadiana Community Pet Food Bank.  If your family, office, church or neighborhood can help - please do.  All creatures deserve to eat - and we are helping so many families who are struggling because of illness or hard times to feed their pets.  Please make the holidays joyful for everyone!

Food donations can be dropped off at Lafayette Animal Aid or the food donation box at Petco (I-10 location.)  And Lafayette Animal Aid will pick up larger food donations - just give us a call at 337-896-1553.

Thank you!
