Search Is On For Missing Elderly Man In St. Landry Parish

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 78-year-old Joseph Lee Simien who was reported missing yesterday by his family members.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena says,

“Mr. Simien was last seen on Sunday, March 9 at his residence on Sidney Charles Road near Opelousas. As of today, his vehicle is still at his residence.”

Police are asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr. Simien to call the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office at 948-6516 or St. Landry Crime Stoppers at 948-TIPS.
