Sand and Bags Available in Vermilion Parish and Scott
The Vermilion Parish Police Jury will have sand and bags with a shovel available for Vermilion Parish residents to fill themselves at: Across from Erath City Hall, Area 2 Barn (Perry), Area 3 Barn in Gueydan, Area 4 Barn in Kaplan, Public Works Barn in Abbeville.
The City of Scott will be distributing sand bags at the Maintenance Building located at 118 Lions Club Road (across the street from City Hall) starting at 1 p.m. on Friday until 6 p.m. Residents living in the City of Scott within the corporate limits and must show I.D. On Saturday distribution will resume from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
