It's been reported in recent days the Saints have resumed contract talks with Drew Brees. It appears those negotiations have taken on new urgency. They clearly have no quarterback of the future. Profootballtalk reported Wednesday, the Black & Gold have waived last year's third round pick, quarterback Garrett Grayson. His struggles have been well documented. Head coach Sean Payton has clearly seen enough. The offensive line was less than stellar during the preseason, so they've made a move to bolster pass protection for Drew Brees. It's reported, also by profootballtalk, the Saints have come to terms with veteran guard Jahri Evans, whom they released in a salary cap move earlier this year. Many Who Dats, myself included, have expressed concern about the saints 2016 season. One has to wonder, is this too little, too late? Will we see more moves before they open the season against the Raiders Sept.11th?
