Saints Sign Louisiana – Monroe’s Leonard

The New Orleans Saints have signed six players who received tryouts at rookie camp last weekend. The signings were announced Monday by general manager Mickey Loomis.

I recently reported Brent Leonard, Louisiana-Monroe's leading receiver last season was offered a tryout. Leonard was also offered a tryout with the Dallas Cowboys. He declined.
In addition to signing Leonard, the Saints signed defensive end Baraka Atkins, running back Khiry Robinson, guard Jeremiah Warren, defensive back Korey Lindsey, and kicker Jose Maltos.

The Saints waived ex-West Virginia running back Shawne Alston, former Utah cornerback Ryan Lacy, and 2012 practice squad center Ryan Lee.
