Rookie cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste inked his first professional contract today, agreeing to a 4-year deal with the New Orleans Saints.

The 2nd round draft pick out of Nebraska is in New Orleans this weekend for the Saints rookie mini-camp.

At 6-foot-3, 218 pounds, Jean-Baptiste converted from wide receiver to cornerback before his junior season with the Cornhuskers. Still somewhat raw for the position, he possesses tremendous upside, assimilating to defense quickly for Nebraska.

Based on his draft slot (58th overall) and the current collective bargaining agreement, Jean-Baptiste's contract is worth $3.57 million with a signing bonus just south of $970,000. His 2014 cap hit is projected to be $650,000.

Jean-Baptiste is the 4th rookie to officially sign with the Saints (read more about the other 3 signings here).
