New Orleans Saints safety Roman Harper has been a busy man this week. Tuesday, he visited St. Martinville Primary School.  They're the Louisiana winner of his "Reading With Roman'' reading incentive program. The kids at St. Martinville Primary read a total of 4,271 books. The individual winner was 5th grader Brionne Miller. Brionne read 71 books. Harper visited the school and brought pizza for everyone. Harper presented Brionne an iPod touch.

Thursday, the Super Bowl winning safety reported for Saints organized team activities, after signing a restructured contract. Harper is entering his eighth season with the Saints after totaling 124 tackles & 2 interceptions in 2012.

The Saints 2012 defense was the worst in NFL history. They reportedly have salary cap issues looming this year and next. The team's first round draft pick in 2013 was Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro.  Head coach Sean Payton has stated that he's approaching this season as if he were a new head coach.
