They say, "If you want to be the best, you've got to beat the best". Tonight's NFL season kickoff, featuring the last two Superbowl Champions, is proof of that.

The Saints, winners of Superbowl XLIV travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Defending Champion Green Bay Packers. Tonight's matchup promises to be a high- scoring affair, since it features two of the league's most potent offenses. The Packers are led by the MVP of Superbowl XLV, Aaron Rodgers, while the Saints have their own Superbowl MVP, Drew Brees. Drew has passed for more than 4,000 yards in each of his previous five seasons with the Saints. Brees is one of only two Quarterbacks in NFL history to pass for 5,000 yards in a season, and he's in a contract year. Head Coach Sean Payton has transformed the once laughable Saints into one of the NFL's most feared teams. Since 2006,

they're #2 overall in points per game, #1 in total yards per game and #6 in winning percentage. If you haven't heard, Coach Payton & the Saints have agreed to a contract extension, which will keep him in The Big Easy through 2015. The last time these teams met was Nov. 24th, 2008. The Saints won 51-29.
