The New Orleans Saints are back in action on Sunday afternoon, when they travel hit the road to take on the Atlanta Falcons in a showdown of NFC South foes.

Kickoff time at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia is scheduled for 3:25 pm, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420 and 97.3 The Dawg.

The match-up will serve as the 2016 regular season finale for both teams.

The Falcons lead the all-time series between the two franchises, 50-45, including a 45-32 win over the Saints in the first meeting this year. New Orleans, however, has won 15 of the last 21 meetings, dating back to the 2006 season.

New Orleans, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-24, last week, is 7-8 on the season, while Atlanta, who beat the Carolina Panthers, 33-16, last week, will enter the match-up at 10-5.

The Falcons have already clinched the NFC South Division championship, while the Saints have been eliminated from playoff contention for the third-consecutive year.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 29.1 points-per-game, along with 422.9 total yards, including 315.5 passing yards, and 107.3 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 4,858 yards and 35 touchdowns, along with running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 940 yards and five touchdowns, and receiver Michael Thomas, who has caught 82 passes for 981 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Falcons, offensively, are averaging 33.5 points, 412.5 total yards, 293.5 passing yards, and 119.1 rushing yards a game this season.

Atlanta is paced by quarterback Matt Ryan, who has thrown for 4,613 yards and 34 touchdowns, along with running back Devonta Freeman, who has rushed for 983 yards and ten touchdowns, and receiver Julio Jones, who has compiled 76 receptions for 1,313 yards and five touchdowns.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 369.4 yards-per-game, including 270.5 passing yards and 98.9 rushing yards, while the Falcons have allowed 364.4 total yards, including 261.7 passing yards and 102.7 rushing yards.
