The New Orleans Saints are struggling through a disappointing season. One of their players is deeply concerned about the chaos in Ferguson, Missouri following Monday's grand jury decision not to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the death of 18 year old Michael Brown. Watson says he learned the news while preparing for the Saints' Monday night game against the Baltimore Ravens. WDSU reports, Watson wrote a lengthy, impassioned post on his Facebook page. The profoundly religious veteran tight end shared some very personal emotions regarding the current state of our culture, and his own prejudices.

"I'M INTROSPECTIVE, because sometimes I want to take "our" side without looking at the facts in situations like these. Sometimes I feel like it's us against them. Sometimes I'm just as prejudiced as people I point fingers at. And that's not right. How can I look at white skin and make assumptions but not want assumptions made about me?
