The 2013 New Orleans Saints had one of the most improved defenses of all time. They posted the worst defensive performance in NFL history in 2012, improving to a #4 overall ranking in 2013. The Advertiser reports, defensive coordinator Rob Ryan isn't satisfied with that, because they were dead last in the NFL in takeaways. Ball hawking Free Safety Jairus Byrd was signed on the first day of free agency. The Saints more recently acquired future hall of fame cornerback Champ Bailey. Ryan cited former Ragin' Cajun Charles Tillman as an example of what he's looking for in 2014.

"We show some (Charles) Peanut Tillman punch-outs, we saw a few of those today. Great players can be imitated, and we're trying to do that here. He was a Ragin' Cajun wasn't he? I like that there."     -Rob Ryan
