There's something fascinating about vintage aircraft. When I was 21, I visited the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC. It was an awesome experience seeing the Wright Brothers plane, the Spirit of St. Louis, and so much more.

The B-29 Superfortress was placed into service late in World War II. It was the largest ,and most advanced military aircraft of its time. The Superfortress saw extensive action in the Pacific theater against the empire of Japan. The Enola Gay, famous for dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima was a b-29. They were taken out of service in 1960. According to Wikipeida, there is only one airworthy superfortress remaining, "Fifi.' Several others are in museums. One is reportedly in an incomplete stage of restoration. Wanna go for a ride?...
