Sir Richard Branson's $100 million dollar island home was destroyed by fire early this morning. The blaze was reportedly the result of a lightning strike around 4am.

 Twenty people, including Branson's mother, actress Kate Winslet and her children were staying in the Home on Necker Island, in The British Virgin Islands. Everyone reportedly escaped uninjured. Branson told The BBC, "My office was based in the house and I have lost thousands of photographs and my note books which is very sad. But all family and friends are well - which in the end is all that really matters." He also vowed to rebuild, saying, "There's a lot of damage but we'll create something
