Yes, they ARE full of bacteria. That's the point. research indicates, it's exposure to bacteria that develops our immune system, which resides primarily in our gut.  Friedrich Bischinger is an Austrian respiratory expert. he claims people who eat their snot are happier and healthier than those who don't How about a burger & boogers for lunch? No, thanks. I'll pass.
