It's been known for awhile now that it is highly unlikely Jimmy Graham would be staying in Seattle.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Graham and Seattle will part ways once free agency opens on March 14th.

With that said, there are a "bunch of teams" that are interested in bringing the 6'7", 31-year-old tight end to their team. And the Saints are one of them.

Graham played for the Saints from 2010-2014. He was traded to Seattle during the offseason of 2015 for center Max Unger. While in New Orleans, Graham posted some impressive stats, catching 386 passes for 4,752 yards and 51 touchdowns. In Seattle, he struggled with a knee injury his first year, and posting 122 passes for 1,443 yards and 16 touchdowns in his last two years.

The Saints relied on Josh Hill and Michael Hoomanawanui in the tight end position this past season. You may have noticed that they didn't play a particularly large part of the offense.Colby Fleener was signed back in 2016 to fill the Jimmy Graham role. That didn't particularly play out that way. Also, Fleener suffered his 5th career concussion in the 11th game of 2017, ending his season.

Perhaps bringing back Jimmy Graham could add a little more spice to the already high powered offense.
