Scott Kushner of the Advocate is reporting through his sources that Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns have agreed in principle to play in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl for a third straight season.

And, it looks as though it will be an all-Louisiana bowl with the Tulane Green Wave the likely opponent.

Tulane's participation is contingent on the Wave not making the CUSA championship game.  And, that is a long shot for Tulane.  The Greenies would have to beat Rice Saturday and have Louisiana Tech upset Texas-San Antonio, which would create a favorable tie in the standings.

According to the report, the invitation for the Cajuns is not contingent on them defeating ULM or South Alabama in their final two games.  Neither school would confirm the report.
