Relief Drive for Alabama Tornado Victims

Thursday May 5th Kappa Sigma Theta Rho Chapter at McNeese State University will launch a Tornado Relief Drive for the tornado victims in the Alabama area. There is a hospital just outside of the Tuscaloosa area with nearly 200 children who are still waiting to find their parents. These families need our help and Acadiana is always known to “lend a hand” to our neighbors in need. The gentlemen will launch the drive on campus and at area businesses in the Lafayette and Lake Charles areas. With the recent events that devastated the area they are in need of the following items: Clothing items all sizes (especially children’s sizes), blankets, any non perishable food items and paper products. The gentlemen are planning to make a trip to the area the week of May 23. The drive will end May 20th.

*Lafayette area: Martin Family and Cosmetic Dentistry the office of Dr. Brandon Martin located at 1232 Camellia Blvd - 337-988-4060 call for directions and for drop off times

*Lake Charles area: Kappa Sigma Fraternity House as its main headquarters, Bath Junkie, OB's Bar and Grill and Henderson Implement and Marine. Also all profits at the door on Wednesday May 11 at OB's Bar and Grill is being donated to the Relief Fund.
