The Solo Cup Company was owned by his father and he began working there just out of high school. He went on the eventually run the company as the President and CEO before his retirement. The popular cups became so popular, there was even a country song written about the cup itself. Toby Keith can be credited with giving the cup brand new life and an identity all its own.
