Ragin’ Cajuns Home Opener is Saturday

It's hard to believe, but the Ragin Cajuns football season is already here, kicking off with a home opener this Saturday night against Boise State. Fans are asked to wear white for this Saturday's game to show up better on the nationally - broadcast game!

To help all Cajuns fans wear white,  the Ragin' Cajuns Store (official apparel store of UL Lafayette) has special edition white Ragin' Cajuns t-shirts for only $5.  Fans can buy the shirts at the Ragin' Cajuns Store on Johnston Street and at the game.

New this year is an 'early bird' ticket special for the Boise game. Fans can purchase at the Cajundome Box Office or order online before midnight on Friday. Festivities begin with the Cajun Walk at 8:30 a.m, and gates open at 9:30 a.m. Pre - game begins at 10:40.

Also new this season is The Ragin' Cajuns Kid Dash, sponsored by McDonalds. During pregame at Cajun Field, fans under 12 years of age will be able to sprint the field to start off the pregame festivities.

Put on your sneakers and head on down to the Ragin' Cajuns Kid Dash before every home football game.

Each game, young fans under 12 years of age start off our pre-game show with the Dash across Cajun Field.

First 100 young fans gets a free Ragin' Cajuns Kid Dash t-shirt, courtesy McDonald's. Just head to the gate behind the Cajun Field Bell Tower 45 minutes before the kick-off. At least one adult must be present. Kids will line up on the field and just before the band takes the field, dash across Cajun Field to start the fun.
