Ragin’ Cajun Athletics Ranked 34th Nationally

It's been a historic year for the UL Ragin' Cajun athletic program, and its fans! The football, baseball, and softball teams all won regular season titles. The men's basketball, men's tennis, baseball and softball teams all won their conference tournaments. The excellence of the Ragin' Cajun athletic program has garnered national attention. The Advertiser reports, the National Association of College Directors of Athletics has ranked UL's athletic program as the 34th best in the nation. The rankings are compiled on the basis of a schools performance in football, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, and an additional "wild Card." The Wild card sport can be women's gymnastics, women's soccer, softball, men's soccer, men's lacrosse, men's ice hockey, or wrestling. Geaux Cajuns!!
