Donald "Duck" Dunn passed away this morning in Tokyo. You may not recognize the name, but you've almost certainly heard his work. He was a longtime session musician with  Stax Records.

He was inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame for his work as  the bass player with Booker T. & the M.G.'s

Dunn's resume' also includes appearances on recordings byThe Blues Brothers, Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Albert King, Levon Helm, Neil Young, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Wilson Pickett, Sam & Dave, Guy Sebastian, Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Roy Buchanan and Arthur Conley.

Somehow, I feel a little older today.
