I-10 Lane Closures in Lafayette and Acadia

Beginning Sunday, August 28, 2011, at 6:00 am, I-10 in Lafayette Parish will be closed both EB and WB at MP 96.5 (approximately ½ mile West of the LA 93 Scott/Cankton Exit), for approximately 15 minutes to allow for power lines to be pulled across the entire roadway.  No traffic will be allowed to pass for this 15 minute interval.  An alternate route consists of LA 93 North, LA 98 West and LA 95 South.

Beginning 6:30 a.m. Sunday, August 28, 2011, the right lane on I-10 eastbound & westbound from Mile Post 80 to 72 from Crowley to Egan in Acadia Parish will be closed due to a moving operation at intermittent locations for roadway testing procedures.  This work is expected to be complete by 5:00 p.m. that same day.  No detour is necessary but an alternate route may be La 13, La 100 & La 97.
