Loretta Lynn is canceling shows in Texas this weekend, something she hates to do.  Now 84-years-old, Lynn has always put her fans first.  However, at this time, she's not able to perform.

Fans who arrived at her Hurricane Mills estate for her annual Labor Day concert were told that Loretta would not be performing because of a chest injury due to a fall which happened in early September.  The country superstar will be having surgery to fix a problem in her chest caused by the fall.  She can't breath well enough to sing right now.    Her sister Crystal Gayle took over for Loretta Labor Day weekend.  Even though fans were disappointed, they understood and urged the country singer to get better soon.

On Facebook, fans are sending prayers and well wishes.

Fans who purchased tickets to see her this weekend in Texas are asking her to rest, and not worry about promoters or ticket refunds.  They are posting comments like, "everything will be fine, we'll see you when you get better."

We wish Loretta Lynn a speedy recovery.
