Pope Francis has created quite a splash since taking the reigns as head of the Roman Catholic Church. He's the first pope to be born outside of Europe, and clearly the most progressive pontiff ever. Some are alarmed at his efforts to be more contemporary than his predecessors. Others are absolutely enamored.

He's about to do something truly groundbreaking. Rolling Stone reports His Holiness will release a pop-rock album in late November. The venture reportedly has Vatican approval.
