Pope Drops Ban On Condoms

According to this report by The Telegraph, Pope Benedict XVI has reversed the Church's longstanding stance on condom usage. According to the story, the Pope says that condom use is

acceptable to use a prophylactic when the sole intention was to “reduce the risk of infection” from Aids.

The story goes on to say that the Church still stands firm on it's opposition to contraception when it interferes with the creation of life.
