Police Ask For Help In Bank Card Case

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office has released information from a local police department in an effort to help them solve a crime.

Berwick Police are looking for two people they alleged used bank account information to fraudulently purchase multiple gift cars and other things.

The victim complained to police,a nd the detective found evidence that the information was used at a Berwick Dollar General on March 13.

They are asking anyone who can identify either of the men to make an anonymouse tip to crimewatch@stmaryso.com or you can give your tip via the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office app.

The detective says the two men ran up about $900 dollars on the card to get gift cards, and they bought other items at that store.
