Pink Birds Spotted In Acadiana
Pink birds are being spotted in Acadiana. What are these birds. They are not flamingos, however they do look like egrets. The color of these birds are a bit strange. Picture a white bird with splotches of pinkish areas. The pink areas don't cover the whole bird, it's like a white bird that is transforming into a flamingo but not quite there. It's weird. These birds are being seen near crawfish ponds that are being drained. As these ponds are being drained these birds now have access to the left over crawfish at the bottom. They are eating these crawfish in abundance. Yesterday I tried to capture a flock on video but they were too far away to get an appropriate image. Is this making these egret like birds turn pink?
