Earlier this year, the Pentagon and the White House targeted Christians for speaking about their faith in the military. They now have a new target: the Founding Fathers of the United States of America.

The Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute training guide is a Department of Defense training document obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act Request.

Under a section titled “Extremist Ideologies,” the document states, “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

My two cents: the last time I checked, wasn't being an extremist in the way that the Founders were a great thing? As in, without such "extremism," we would not have the freedom so many have fought and died to defend, and which others cherish?
