Duck and goose season is here and many are out collecting waterfowl. Now, if you happen to see this on the bird while cleaning it, you should dispose of the bird.

According to this Facebook post, birds with such are infected with a parasite. While it may look like something else, this is could pose a threat to one's health if consumed.

We wanted to share this with you because we know many of you either are out hunting ducks and geese now or maybe you know someone who is.

Be careful when consuming wild game and always remain observant when cleaning what you may kill.
