Monday night, I sat in stunned disbelief as the Saints took the worst beating I've seen them endure in quite some time. I knew the Seahawks were tough, but I didn't expect total domination.
The Saints host the Carolina Panthers at the Superdome this Sunday night. Panthers head coach Ron Rivera took time to watch his team's next opponent that night.  Wednesday, Rivera commented at a news conference, "I learned that they're beatable."
The Saints' high-powered offense was held to one touchdown, and 147 yards passing. The 188 yards of total offense was the lowest output since Sean Payton and Drew Brees joined forces. Carolina's pass rush is fierce, but their secondary is suspect. I'm pretty sure the Saints will be focused and motivated. They'll also be at home. "Riverboat" Rivera says the Saints are beatable. EVERY team is beatable, including the Panthers.
