.....and Vice-Versa.  Palm Sunday is a day when many of us pause to reflect, myself included.  When I was in Junior High School, Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice composed a "Rock Opera"  called "Jesus Christ Superstar".

It was a portrayal of Jesus' final days on Earth, set to rock music, which included performances by several of rock's notables from that.  On the original Cast album,  the part of Christ was sung by Ian Gillan, who was then the lead vocalist with Deep Purple. Yvonne Elliman was the voice of Mary Magdalene.  She went on to spend several years singing with Eric Clapton, and later had a #1 hit, "If I can't Have You', from the "Saturday Night Fever"

Soundtrack. "Superstar" was later made into a movie and has several incarnations on Broadway. It takes me back...
