William Balfour was found guilty of the murders of Jennifer Hudson‘s mother, Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and seven-year-old nephew Julian King yesterday (May 11), bringing some justice and closure to J-Hud and her family. In light of the verdict, the ‘Dream Girls’ star and her sister, Julia, have released a statement about the trial.

Jennifer Hudson’s Ex-Brother-in-Law Found Guilty of Family Murders

Guilty. That’s the verdict handed down in the Jennifer Hudson family murders case. The singer’s former brother-in-law William Balfour was found guilty today (May 11) of three counts of first-degree murder and four other counts in relation to the 2008 murders of Hudson’s mother, brother and her nephew, who was just 7 and the youngest victim of the tragedy.
