One Acadiana’s El Koubi Tapped for Virginia Economic Development

One Acadiana is witnessing a changing of the guard.

President and CEO Jason El Koubi has been chosen to serve as the executive vice president of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.

Frank Neuner, One Acadiana's 2017 chairman said in a press release Monday, El Koubi will serve in the number two role at Virginia's economic development authority.

El Koubi has served as head of One Acadiana--the nine-parish area's business development organization--since 2013 beginning with the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.

One Acadiana executive director of business development--Jim Bourgeois--has been tapped as interim CEO.
