"Do you know what you're having?" is usually the first question I'm asked as soon as someone finds out I'm pregnant and as of right now I have no idea!

So, let's see what the old wives' tales have to say! Is there a boy or girl inside my (very unimpressive) baby bump?

  • Carrying High or Low. As I just said my baby bump is extremely unimpressive, so I'm not really sure if I'm carrying high or low. If I have to pick one I guess I'd say low, because the little bump I have is at the bottom of my belly.

  • Moody vs Mellow. Mellow. 100% mellow. No mood swings or emotional break downs yet!
    • Old Wives' Tale Predicts: boy
  • Morning Sickness. Praise the Pregnancy Gods I have had no morning sickness.

  • Salty vs Sweet Cravings. This is a tough one for me because I kind of feel like I've been craving both. I crave cheeseburgers almost everyday, but I can't get enough sweet stuff. Cake , ice cream, Snickers bars, you name it and I need it!
    • Old Wives' Tale Predicts: not sure
  • Pregnancy Glow. That's a no glow for me. My skin is way more broken out than normal and I really don't feel like I'm reaping the benefits of gorgeous pregnancy hair.
    • Old Wives' Tale Predicts: girl
  • The Feel of Your Skin. Normal? It hasn't been dry or anything, just normal.
    • Old Wives' Tale Predicts: girl
  • Cold Feet. Nope. They feel pretty warm to me.
    • Old Wives' Tale Predicts: girl
  • Clumsiness. It might be because I recently started working out more, but I swear I'm way less coordinated at the gym than I used to be. So, I think this is a yes for me.
    • Old Wives' Tale Predicts: boy
  • Baby's Heart Rate. During my last doctors appointment the baby's heart rate was 158.
    • Old Wives' Tale Predicts: girl
  • Chinese Gender CalendarI'm pretty positive I got pregnant November 2018.
    • Old Wives' Tale Predicts: boy

So, what does that bring the total to? 5 boy, 4 girl and 1 not sure. I guess I must be having a boy!

Ok, I know none of these are backed by science, but it's kind of fun to test out! We'll see if any of them were right in a few weeks.
