Nutella Causes Cancer?

Social media is ablaze about Nutella containing ingredients that can cause cancer.  Is it true?

It all started with a report from Reuters.  Reuters reported that Nutella contains palm oil and palm oil contains carcinogenics that has caused cancer in lab mice.  The makers of Nutella, Ferrero based in Italy, says they will continue to use palm oil in their product.  Ferrero claims not using palm oil in Nutella would create an inferior product.  However other oils could be used but would increase the the cost of the product.

Palm oil is used in many products including Oreos.  Some experts think you would have to have a large quantity of palm oil daily for it to hurt you, but the question is, do you want to serve your family a product that contains palm oil.
