North Carolina School Takes Little Girls Healthy Home Lunch, Makes Her Eat Nuggets
A North Carolina preschool took little girls healthy home lunch and makes her eat nuggets. The 4 year old's lunch box contained a turkey sandwich with cheese, banana, apple juice and chips. Her mom is not happy.
A mom in North Carolina said her daughter ate three chicken nuggets for lunch — because an official thought the lunch she brought from home was unhealthy.
The Carolina Journal reported the school deemed the lunch unhealthy and made the 4 year old eat nuggets. "What got me so mad is, number one, don't tell my kid I'm not packing her lunch box properly," the mom, who wished to stay anonymous, told the newspaper. "I pack her lunch box according to what she eats. It always consists of a fruit. It never consists of vegetables. She eats vegetables at home because I have to watch her because she doesn't really care for vegetables."
