NOLA Margaritaville Relocating, BB King’s Moving In

The last time I visited Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, on Decatur Street, a friend & I were celebrating my birthday. We stopped in for (Yes, I know) a Cheeseburger in Paradise, and a margarita. If you've never been, they have quite a variety of both. A report has recently circulated that it's closing. WWL reports, that's inaccurate. Margaritaville is relocating from 1104 Decatur to a new address up the street.

Margaritaville's director of domestic operations, Bret Brown, said "We will always have a presence in the city that gave Jimmy his start. Margaritaville has had an awesome 22-year run on Decatur Street and we are not done yet."

June 30th will be the last day of operations at the current location. The new tenant will be a BB King's Blues Club.
