Lafayette Police Chief Reginald Thomas is not releasing any further details about recent personnel changes within his department or at the district attorney's office.

Chief Reginald Thomas will not be commenting on the recent reassignment of employees with the Lafayette Police Department or District Attorney’s Office. No disciplinary action or investigation has been enacted by the Lafayette Police Department. Assistant District Attorney Celeste White was fired from her post at the 15th Judicial District.  Capt. Dwayne Prejean, Lafayette Police Department's Metro Narcotics supervisor, was transferred Friday.
