Back in November of 2015, NBA living legend and Los Angeles Lakers superstar player, Kobe Bryant, announced his retirement from the game of basketball. The five-time champion will play the remainder of the 2015-16 NBA season and will hang up it up after the last game of the Lakers' regular season. While several teams and footwear brands have honored Kobe in their own ways, the Swoosh will honor the Black Mamba and his fans by releasing the entire Nike Kobe Bryant collection.

With the Instagram account @kb824 posting a spread sheet with the upcoming Retro Kobe releases, the entire collection will be dubbed as the “Fade To Black” series. Featuring Kobe signature models from 1 through 11 as well as the Huarache 2k4, this collection of Kobe-inspired Retros will be highly anticipated and sought-after. With each of the sneakers detailed in white and black colorways to give it the fade to black look, this collection will mark another historic release for the Swoosh and will pay tribute to one of the most respected and beloved basketball players of all time.

While information on the Nike Kobe "Fade To Black" Retro collection remains to a minimum, the Instagram user claims that all the sneakers from this collection will retail for the suggested price of $200 and will start to release at some point in March. With more details to release throughout the weeks to come, make sure to keep it locked with XXL on this Kobe Retro launch.
