New Iberia Firefighters Association Chili Fundraiser
The New Iberia Firefighters Association Chili Fundraiser will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Central Fire Station in New Iberia.
For your $8.00 donation, you'll receive a 16-ounce bowl of chili, along with a piece of cornbread and a drink. Serving time is from 10:30am - 1:30pm (pick up your meal at the Central Fire Station, 560 Charles St. in New Iberia).
The NIFA will use the funds raised for charitable causes in New Iberia.
We use the funds to be charitable in New Iberia in several ways. Some are related to helping families due to loss from fire (gift cards to purchase food, clothing, other necessities, etc). We have also sponsored teachers and donated school supplies. We've purchased a new bicycle for a child after hers was damaged, and we've purchased a set of golf clubs for a local high school student after his were stolen.
