Basin Bridge and N. University and Cameron Lane Closures

The intersection of LA 182 (North University) and US 90 (Cameron St.) will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Wednesday, July 27th through Sunday, July 31st for roadway construction.

This closure has no vehicle restrictions.  Emergency vehicles have access to the area.  No detour is necessary for this work.

The suggested alternate route for University traffic is I-10 to US 167 (Johnston St.).
The suggested alternate route for Cameron Street traffic is I-10 to US 167 to La 3184 (Ambassador Caffery).

I-10 in St Martin & Iberville Parishes will be reduced to one lane on the Basin Bridge (MP 117-135), for debris removal both eastbound and westbound, Thursday, August 4, 2011, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (night time only).  The road will be open for regular traffic but oversized vehicles must detour using I-49, US 190, and LA 415.
