Movies In The Parc Presents ‘The Never Ending Story’
This Saturday, May 25th, Movies In The Parc presents Wolfgang Petersen’s adaptation of Michael Ende’s “The Never Ending Story.”
It’s the tale of a quiet boy who loves to read, and is accosted by bullies on his way to school. Seeking shelter in a bookstore, he interrupts the grouchy bookseller. The youngster asks about a particular book, but is warned it’s “not safe.” He “borrows” the book anyway, leaving a note promising to return it. He then hides in the school attic to read The Never Ending Story.
Gates @ Parc International open at 6. The show starts as soon as it’s dark enough. Concessions are available. Admission is just $2.00. Kids under 5 are admitted free.
