Movies In The Parc Concludes Successful Spring Season With ‘Despicable Me,’ Returns This Fall With ‘Raiders Of The Lost Ark’

The spring 2013 season of Movies in the Parc wrapped up with a bang! Kate Durio with Downtown Lafayette Unlimited reports last Saturday's showing of  "Despicable Me" brought the third best crowd since Movies in the Parc began in 2006!

The hot air balloon pilot couldn't safely offer rides because of the wind, but additional programming was implemented. There was minion face-painting, done by Kate herself. It was a big hit! The Children's Museum of Acadiana also brought bubbles and thumbprint crafts.
