Most Of Acadiana Under Tornado Watch Until 7 PM

Severe weather will roll through Acadiana this afternoon and evening, with tornadic activity possible.

KATC reports that a tornado watch has been issued for the following parishes until 7:00 PM

Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Caldwell, Cameron, Evangeline, Grant, Jefferson Davis, La Salle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Sabine, St. Landry, Vermilion, and Vernon.

Conditions will be favorable for the development of storms capable of producing tornadoes, damaging winds, hail, and frequent lightning this afternoon and evening.
