Vermilionville Living History Museum & Folklife Park hosts a variety of special events each month including its weekly Cajun Jam on Saturdays, Bal du Dimanche (Sunday Dance) as well as perennial exhibits. Village hours are Tuesday – Sunday from 10 AM-4 PM. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for students, $8 for senior citizens 65+ and children 5 and under get in free. Sunday, January 11: Bal du Dimanche with Donny Broussard & Louisiana Stars, 1-4 PM

Dance the afternoon away with Donny Broussard and the Louisiana Stars at Vermilionville's weekly Sunday Dance. Refreshments will be available for this smoke-free,  family friendly performance at Vermilionville's Performance Center.   Bal du Dimanche is held every Sunday. $10 admission is for the dance only and does not include entry to the park.

Saturday, January 17: Cajun Jam,  1 – 330 PM

Vermilionville's weekly Cajun Jam, presented by Community Coffee Company, is a free jam and is located in Vermilionville’s Performance Center. Led by some of the area’s finest musicians, the jam is open to all skill levels, beginner to professional. Admission is free for the jam only and does not include entry to the park.
