Missing Rayne Man Found Dead

A Rayne man was found dead this morning after he was reported missing since yesterday.

Rayne Police reported Wendell Bertrand had been missing since early Monday morning.

He was last seen leaving his residence on Gabriel's Alley in Rayne around 7 a.m.

Police spokesperson Capt. Tony Olinger reported at 11:30 a.m. today that Bertrand was found dead.
