Missing Eunice Woman, Paulette Thibodeaux, Found Dead

45-year-old Paulette Thibodeaux's body was found shortly after daybreak Tuesday in an area off Heart D Farm Road in Broussard.

Broussard Police Chief Brannon Decou says no foul play is suspected. Police say Thibodeaux committed suicide and was found beneath an old fallen tree in the area that is heavily overgrown with vines, tall grass, and downed trees.

Thibodeaux was last seen on Wednesday of last week and was reported missing by her roommate on Friday. She left her car, wallet and cell phone at the house.

Broussard Police searched the Broussard area over the weekend for Thibodeaux, using aircraft and ATVs and going door-to-door. Police thank everyone who helped them in their search and offers their condolensces to the Thibodeaux family.
